Description
What is FULL CONTROL
FULL CONTROL is a selective herbicide designed for reliable broad spectrum weed control in maize crops across Pakistan. It contains Mesotrione 10 percent and Atrazine 40 percent in WP formulation. The chemistry belongs to the Triketone and Triazine families. The mode of action works through HPPD inhibition and Photosystem II inhibition. This dual action gives strong protection from aggressive broadleaf and grassy weeds during the early stages of maize growth.
Pakistani farmers in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan need dependable weed control to protect maize yield. FULL CONTROL provides a simple and effective solution. The product fits well in both irrigated and rainfed farming systems and supports good crop protection in Pakistan.
Key Benefits
- Controls a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds
- Two different modes of action for stronger performance
- Gives clean fields for better maize growth and uniform stands
- Works well in hot, dry and semi arid farming conditions
- Helps reduce weed competition during early crop development
- Supports higher yield potential in Pakistani maize fields
How It Works
Mesotrione: HPPD Inhibition
Mesotrione blocks the HPPD enzyme. When this enzyme is stopped, the weeds cannot produce protective pigments. Because of this, the leaves bleach, turn white and then dry out. The action is slow but sure. It works well on many broadleaf weeds that trouble maize farmers.
Atrazine: Photosystem II Inhibition
Atrazine enters the weed through leaves and roots. It stops the Photosystem II process in chloroplasts. When photosynthesis stops, the weed cannot make energy. This results in leaf burn, wilting and final death. Atrazine gives strong soil activity and helps prevent new weeds from emerging.
Together, these two chemistries provide strong foliar and soil control. This combination is widely used worldwide and gives good reliability in field conditions.

Local Advice for Pakistani Farmers
FULL CONTROL performs well in different farming zones of Pakistan.
Punjab
Punjab maize farmers face strong broadleaf weed pressure in both spring and autumn seasons. This product supports reliable early season weed knockdown. It works well in irrigated soils of Faisalabad, Okara, Sahiwal and South Punjab.
Sindh
Warm and dry conditions in Sindh can increase weed competition. FULL CONTROL fits well in maize fields of Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad and upper Sindh where farmers want fast action and long residual control.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In KPK, maize is mostly rainfed, especially in Swat, Mardan and Hazara. FULL CONTROL supports good weed control in moisture limited soils and helps protect yield.
Balochistan
Semi arid areas of Balochistan like Khuzdar and Kalat benefit from products with soil activity. FULL CONTROL provides weed suppression even under lower rainfall, supporting better maize establishment.
Using this herbicide supports crop protection in Balochistan, weed control in Punjab, and maize production improvement across Pakistan.
