How It Works

Mesotrione: HPPD Inhibition

Mesotrione blocks the HPPD enzyme. When this enzyme is stopped, the weeds cannot produce protective pigments. Because of this, the leaves bleach, turn white and then dry out. The action is slow but sure. It works well on many broadleaf weeds that trouble maize farmers.

Atrazine: Photosystem II Inhibition
