Description

What is ALICEE

ALICEE is a broad spectrum fungicide designed for strong disease control in vegetable crops. Developed by Farmisto Chemicals Pvt Ltd, it combines two powerful active ingredients, Azoxystrobin and Chlorothalonil, in a high quality Suspension Concentrate (SC) formulation. This combination delivers both systemic and contact protection, making it highly reliable for farmers across Pakistan.

Vegetable production is growing rapidly in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. With this increase, fungal diseases such as late blight, downy mildew, powdery mildew and leaf spot have become major concerns. ALICEE provides dependable control during these critical stages. It is suitable for open field and protected cultivation, including tunnels and greenhouses.

The product fits well into Pakistan’s diverse climates. Its long lasting activity and multi site contact action help prevent disease outbreaks and protect new growth. ALICEE also supports better leaf health, stronger plant vigor and cleaner produce for market.

Key Benefits

  • Strong control of late blight, downy mildew and powdery mildew.

  • Dual action systemic and contact formula for complete protection.

  • Multi site mode gives excellent resistance management.

  • Reliable performance in humid, hot and rainy conditions.

  • Useful for many vegetables grown in Pakistan.

  • Improves crop health and supports higher quality harvests.

How It Works

ALICEE works through two different scientific mechanisms that complement each other.

Azoxystrobin
Azoxystrobin is a systemic strobilurin fungicide. It travels inside the plant and protects both treated and new leaves. It stops mitochondrial respiration in fungal cells. When fungi cannot produce energy, they cannot grow or infect the plant. This gives strong preventive action and helps stop early infections.

Chlorothalonil
Chlorothalonil is a contact fungicide that works on the leaf surface. It attacks multiple sites in the fungal cell, making it very difficult for diseases to develop resistance. It gives a protective shield on leaves and stems. This prevents spore germination and blocks new infections.

Together, Azoxystrobin and Chlorothalonil provide complete protection. One works inside the plant and the other protects the outer surface. This combination supports long lasting control even in changing weather conditions.
